Kat Shy (KIKI) Kat Shy is extremely pleased to be joining such a stellar cast in her return to Dobama Theater in this season’s production of SIGNIFICANT OTHER. This is her third show at Dobama, having previously appeared as Jenny is JOHN and as Amanda in 4000 MILES in 2012. She later reprised the role of Amanda in Weathervane Playhouse’s production of the same title. Kat is also a company member at convergence-continuum in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood, and has appeared on the con-con stage several times, most notably as Sarah in A Map of Virtue. She also stage managed their production of Terminus. Most recently, she completed an Actor/Teacher residency with the Illusion Factory in Akron. There, she appeared as Ariel in an adaptation of The Little Mermaid, and taught workshops for students Kindergarten through sixth grade. As a graduate of Cleveland State University’s theater studies program, Kat would like to thank all her mentors in the Cleveland arts community for their guiding hands in her acting career. Many thanks, as well, to her friends and family for their unwavering support.
