ABOUT
What is the FULL CIRCLE Program?
The FULL CIRCLE Program connects Dobama’s neighbors in Northeast Ohio to the shows we create by actively engaging members from communities represented in the plays we produce to the theatre-making process and audience enrichment programming.
What is the purpose of the FULL CIRCLE Program?
The purpose of Dobama Theatre’s FULL CIRCLE Program is to tell the stories of people in the communities we serve with increasing authenticity and to connect audiences with the local, real-world impact of the plays produced on stage.
How does FULL CIRCLE connect the community with theatre-makers?
Dobama seeks out individuals and organizations that can help speak to the life experience, issues, and themes explored in a given play and engages them in the pre-production and rehearsal processes to provide background and insight for the artists involved.
How are Dobama audiences served by the FULL CIRCLE Program?
Dobama builds understanding and empathy by curating programming that gives audiences a chance to engage with individuals from communities represented in the stories told on stage so they can learn how they can take action in supporting their neighbors in new, important ways.
