Ursula Cataan

Ursula Cataan* (RACHAEL) is thrilled to be back performing at Dobama, where she was last seen as Annie in THE CALL. Locally, she has been in LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE at Mamai, SHINING CITY at Beck Center, SPIRITS TO ENFORCE at Cleveland Public Theatre, THE CLEAN HOUSE at Cleveland Play House, I LOVE YOU BECAUSE at Playhouse Square, THE GREAT WHITE HOPE at Karamu House, ELEGY FOR A LADY at Cesear’s Forum and WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF at Ensemble Theater. Ms. Cataan has been seen singing in many concerts and cabarets with The Musical Theater Project. She has had an extensive career performing in New York as well as regionally. She originated the role of Marela in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play ANNA IN THE TROPICS by Nilo Cruz. She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, she now lives on the east side of Cleveland with her three loves Ari, Noomi and Navah.
