Nathan A. Lilly

Nathan A. Lilly+ (CAPT. SCOTT) is elated to return to Dobama Theatre where he appeared in the regional premieres of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' AN OCTOROON, Paula Vogel’s A CIVIL WAR CHRISTMAS (Decatur Bronson), and Tanya Barfield's THE CALL (Alemu).  Other Dobama credits include the World premiere production of Eric Coble’s TEN MORE MINUTES FROM CLEVELAND, and the regional premiere of Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori’s CAROLINE OR CHANGE—a co-production with Karamu Theatre.    WORLD PREMIERES: Eric Schmiedl’s Browns Rules (Cleveland Public Theatre); Nina Domingue’s Jack & Jill’s Super Colossal Storybook Adventure (Cleveland Play House); and Eric Coble’s Let Freedom Ring (Ensemble Theatre/Musical Theatre Project).  UPCOMING: the World premiere of Kris Kringle the Musical (Creative Licenses Group/Angel Polar Bear LLC).  REGIONAL: Kennedy Center for Performing Arts TYA/USA, Great Lakes Theater, Porthouse Theatre, and Cain Park.  NOTABLE CREDITS: A Raisin In The Sun (Asagai), Rome Neal’s Julius Caesar in Africa (Casca), Once On This Island (Agwe), Regina Taylor’s Crowns (The Man), Ma’ Rainey’s Black Bottom (Sylvester), and Are You Now or Have You Ever Been (Paul Robeson).
