Kick off the 40th Annual Marilyn Bianchi Kids’ Playwriting Festival weekend with an Opening Night Benefit performance on Friday, June 1st at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25. Proceeds benefit the Festival and Dobama’s in-school playwriting programs.

Nine plays written by Cuyahoga County youth (grades 2-12) will be professionally directed and performed by Cleveland-area professional and community actors. Additional plays receiving Meritorious Distinction will be honored as well.

The Opening Night Benefit will feature an awards ceremony honoring the playwrights, with a dessert reception to follow. Opening Night Benefit Tickets may be purchased by calling the Box Office at 216.932.3396 or online at dobama.org

Additional Marilyn Bianchi Kids’ Playwriting Festival performances are FREE and open to the public.
Saturday, June 2 at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm
Sunday, June 3 at 2:30 pm.

Public performances are family-friendly, with general seating. No reservations required.
